We have now completed Unit 2 in our Math program. The students have learned about perimeter, area, and plotting points on a point graph. They moved very quickly through the basics of angles. We discussed acute, right, and obtuse angles; we have already begun using a protractor to measure angles.
This week, we will do some more work with our protractors before we move on to Unit 3.
Unit 3 will consist of muliplying and dividing with 5's and 10's, place value, and positive and negative numbers.
**At times, the math homework will focus on these concepts; however, it will usually be a review of a skill the children should have already mastered.**
